Gnip Gnop Circus

Pronounced /gah-nip/ /gah-nop/, ("Ping Pong" backwards), this cute little circus happens all under a black light on a 3' x 3' puppet stage. We saw them at the library one Tuesday morning. I love the little theater at the library! They have a lot of kid-friendly shows there, and everything is always free. It's not the closest library to us, but I can still drop off my over-due books there after a show. ; )

The Gnip Gnop people showed the kids how everything in their show is made from homemade stuff. We of course had to buy a kit afterwards, which happened to be a $5 glow-in-the-dark ping pong ball, but was worth it. This is a picture of the abominable snowman-type character.

My kids especially laughed when the Ring Master would say in his Alvin the Chipmunk voice with a lisp, "Lathies and featherman..."
